Have your plants lost their WOW factor, are they just sitting not dying but doing nothing? This generally is an indication that they just need feeding. Sounds simple, this is what you do.
1. You have already taken the 1st step. You’re interested and want to improve what’s in your gardens.
2. Decide what your wanting to grow. Different plants require different food and or amounts eg; an athlete compared to elderly person.
3. Choose the appropriate Fertiliser.
We have four blends mixed differently for your convenience.
Those blends are – a/ general garden mix b/ native blend c/ vege garden mix d/ lawn mix
Why different blends? If we look at the three components of fertiliser; nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium – each perform different functions.
Nitrogen, develops strong root growth.
Phosphorus, gives our plants strong stem growth and helps with the general well being
Potassium, encourages the flowers and fruit. We must have good flowers to get good fruit
All these items are equal in your vege mix because we get our required amount from eating fruit and vegetables. The next step
4. Now we must put back into the soil every thing that has been taken out.
I suppose we are constantly improving the soil. “WOW” fertiliser is designed to be fast acting and should be watered into the soil immediately

The Flower Farm unique blend.
It will put back all those much required nutrients.
FEEDING OUR PLANTS
1. A late afternoon job & you must wear gloves
2. Just like you feed the chooks grab a handful & sprinkle around the leaf perimeter of the plant.
3. You must water it in that afternoon.
4. Repeat watering the next morning to ensure it is all dissolved and in the ground where it needs to be.
5. Don’t apply more than a handful unless you want to kill the plant.
6. Reseal the bag carefully and/or place it into an airtight container to maintain quality.
7. Try and use the entire contents of the bag at each feeding time.

When we started mixing and selling our blend of fertiliser all people could say is “WOW” … so a name was formed.
What is it? fertilizer. (fûr’tl-ī’zər) Any of a large number of natural and synthetic materials, including manure and compounds containing nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, spread on or worked into soil to increase its capacity to support plant growth.
Where does it come from? Is it organic or synthetic? read on below to find out more……
……Lets look at nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium.
Nitrogen (n)
Check out the paper Nitrogen speciation in upper mantle fluids and the origin of Earth’s nitrogen-rich atmosphere.
Short answer is that molecular nitrogen is abundant in the atmosphere because of plate tectonics and specifically because of oceanic plates diving under continental plates. The molecular nitrogen formed there and entered the atmosphere via volcanoes.
Phosphorus (p)
Is not found in its pure elemental form on Earth, but it is found in many minerals called phosphates. Most commercial phosphorus is produced by mining and heating calcium phosphate. Phosphorus is the eleventh most abundant element in the Earth’s crust.
Potassium (k)
Oceans You’ll find loads of potassium in the world’s oceans. Because potassium forms salts so easily, many of the ions in salt water are potassium ions. Did your mum ever to tell you to eat bananas because they’re good for you? It was probably all of the potassium that made her say that. Potassium is an important element found in many foods.
Crust of the Earth. As far as individual elements are concerned, 2.4% of the Earth’s crust is made of potassium atoms. The element is bonded to many other elements and found in almost all rocks.
