“We have a farm at Coonabarabran, NSW ,
just at the foothills of the Warrumbungle Mountains”
My wife and I started growing Australian native and along with other varieties in the year 2000. We have a farm at Coonabarabran NSW just at the foothills of the Warrumbungle Mountains. During the first 6 years, we found very limited interest of flowers in the country because of extreme heat and high costs, thus only wealthy families could afford them and even then, quality and longevity wasn’t the best.

Pam with the Flowers
We had two choices;
1/ Find another product that was more acceptable or
2/ Take the challenge head on, and see it as an untapped market.
We chose 2 and chose to educate our customers on all the positive aspects of our flowers.
* They are local grown – Grower Support & Produce of Australia
* Their lasting qualities – They do last for 2, 3 or 4 weeks when freshly cut & sold by the growers.
* What flowers mean to a household.
* What flowers mean to others as a gift.
* The magnificent colours all year round.
* Flowers are part of creation and their beauty still astonishes me every single day.
* Flowers are simply part of our life.
Today, our flower farm cuts some 30,000 flowers every month, making between 1,000 & 2,000 farm bunches. We supply 6 local markets, we sell to Sydney markets we supply some Florists, Church Fetes, country charity events also some schools and other organisations bunches for fund-raising, along with weddings, birthdays and special events.
